Boyarsky Murphy Architects

exhibition design – drawing ambience

Designs for a travelling exhibition of drawings from the Alvin Boyarsky Archive at the Mildred Lane Kemper Museum, St Louis, RISD Museum, Providence, the Cooper Union, New York and the Riverside Gallery, Waterloo, Canada. The exhibition will be travelling next in Europe, venues to be announced. The show coincides with a resurgence of interest in the pre-digital architectural drawing and has stimulated debate about architecture and its representation and the nature of architectural education. BMA have designed each of the exhibitions which have also hosted a variety of events and have provided the setting for a dialogue with each host institution and school of architecture.
